While HERR egress windows are produced solely in Edmonton, they are able to be shipped across Canada and the United States.

HERR does not perform on site measurements for windows. If you need help getting your measurements, please send a photo of the outside of your window to Hello@herrv.ca 

HERR can certainly supply you with egress windows for your job but does NOT perform installations at this time. If you live in the Edmonton area, we are able to recommend contractors to you for installation. 

Lead times vary by season, but the typical lead time is 4-6 weeks.

Depending on the size and the additions you would like added onto the windows, the price usually ranges between $1000-$1,500 CAD per window. This price does not include painting, crating, or shipping. 

Yes! HERR egress windows are designed to meet basement window or egress window requirements. They work quite well as an escape route in the event of a fire. 

Yes! HERR windows are manufactured with white vinyl but are able to be painted. This comes with additional costs. Please call or email for pricing.

Crating is recommended for customers who are having windows shipped. Crates are custom made to secure all sides of our egress windows prior to shipping. Crates can be built around one or two windows and adds an additional $129 to the total price. This is highly recommended for customers that are shipping windows. If you are picking up windows from the Edmonton or Calgary showroom, crating is not required but can still be done for ease of transport. 

Yes! HERR egress windows come with a 20-year warranty on most components. As a "parts only" warranty the labour costs are not included. 

These windows carry a special limited warranty on the hinge of the windows. These windows require support when opened  (outside of an emergency situation). The limited warranty has a one-time replacement of the hinges. All other components carry the same 20 year parts warranty.
